Being a RN in one of the countries is the major requirement to apply for a RN license in the UK. Starting with the journey, a candidate first needs to prove the English proficiency level which can be demonstrated either by IELTS or OET. The score required is 6.5 band in writing and 7 in reading, listening and speaking if a candidate chooses the IELTS test whereas, they will require C+ in writing and B in reading, listening and speaking if chosen OET. Other than the English proficiency test a candidate needs to pass the CBT, which is the second test related to nursing theory and the OSCE which is the practical test held in the UK.
Qualifications to Apply for RN in The UK
In order to apply for a UK registered nurse license, a candidate needs to have either a PCL certification, Bachelor degree or a Master degree in Nursing. As the grade do not matter here, a candidate at least needs to have a passing grade in any of the above degree earned.
